
A Mortgage Field Inspector conducts collateral inspections of mortgaged properties for financial institutions. As a Mortgage Field Inspector, your job duties include taking digital photos of houses, apartment buildings, and even construction sites to collect information. After the property is inspected, you prepare a report for the financial company describing the state of the property, such as its occupancy and whether it is in disrepair.
The responsibilities of the local inspector include visiting the property, taking digital photos, and writing a report to submit to the bank or financial institution.
Employees will be required to write their own routes, maintain a consistent schedule and get jobs done within the given time frame. Most tasks only take between 3 and 15 minutes to perform and you're given between 2-5 days to complete the task.
You will need reliable transportation with good gas mileage.

Inspectors are required to complete tasks at a rate of about 30 inspections per day at minimum, but the more you do in a day the better your pay to expense ratio will be.
This is a contract position so you will pay for your own expenses. This includes food and Gas expense. Efficiency is key to maximize earnings.

- An inspector has the potential to make upwards of 50 dollars per hour. Inspections typically pay between $4.50 and $6.00 Per inspection depending on the client. A good inspector can do a dozen houses per hour with minimal trouble if they're driven, hard working, and efficient.
Inspectors will be contracted to cover specific areas and counties based on their location. We try to keep the inspectors in their own lived-in country and surrounding areas.
